The end

As said, it was decided that the Shah had to go through chemotherapy. The first two-three days, everything was just fine, but slowly and slowly the Shah got worse and worse. In a desperate try to save the Shah from this terrible disease, the Shah’s twin sisters asked the American doctor, Dr. Morton Clemen, to come to Cairo. After talking with Dr. Keane, Dr. Clemen came to Cairo and after examining the Shah and talking to the Egyptian doctors, as well as Dr. George Flandern, he took the conclusion that since the pancreas had been infected (something that De Bakey had done and which Dr. Clemen recognized here) and the enzymes of the Pancreas didn’t work properly, a new surgery was needed. Suddenly, all of the doctors wanted De Bakey to return and do this surgery as well. Why? One can really wonder.

In the late April 1980, Dr. De Bakey came to Cairo and did that surgery. But again he said lies and nothing but lies. In an interview with William Shokraws, he said; “I found no infection on the pancreas. The Shah’s response to chemotherapy has been very bad.”

Please notice two things:
1 – That all doctors agree that the pancreas has been infected and the reason is only because the knife of De Bakey hit the Shah’s pancreas.

2 – Dr. De Bakey is now saying that the chemotherapy is not working. This was something which he him self, had recommended several times while Dr. Keane had said that it would only make things worse.

It is said that both Dr. Flandern and Dr. Clemen were against what De Bakey said. Even Dr. Clemen had a big fight with De Bakey about why he was saying such a big lie.

The Shahbanoo asked a French medical team to come to Cairo and make another surgery on the Shah. One person who really wanted this surgery to take place, was Dr. Flandern who wanted to show the world and Dr. De Bakey that the pancreas really was damaged. A new French surgeon had also come to Cairo. He was Dr. Pierre Louie Faniyez. On June 30th 1980, the surgery took place. As said before, one and a half litre of infection was brought out as well as the pancreas itself. Dr. De Bakey’s lies were now a fact. The pancreas had been damaged under the first surgery and Dr. De Bakey had done it with purpose and after that he did nothing about it.

But De Bakey never stopped to tell lies. In an interview with the American Medical Journal from January 18th, De Bakey said: “The reason for why the Shah has been worse is the radical use of chemotherapy”.
First of all, chemotherapy was De Bakey’s own advice and second of all, he says that there has been used too much of chemotherapy. This is only another lie from Dr. De Bakey. The Shah’s medical journal in Cairo shows clearly that the Shah did not receive any chemotherapy after the month of May.

The days went and came, and so did the weeks. On July 27th 1980, His Imperial Majesty Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, called Shahanshah Aryamehr by the Iranian people, closed his eyes and took farewell with this earth.

To the question about whether our Shah was killed or not, I will let you the reader be the judge of that, because I think you know the answer to this question better than me. But perhaps, Dr. Benjamin Keane knew and knows the answer better than you and me, when he in his interview with Theresa Dalby said:

” It was politics, that killed the Shah...”
